CD burning is a process of creating ones own music CD, DVD, data and recordings through computer using CD burner software or writer.

There are two kinds of CD writer – one can be written or recorded for permanently and another can be re-written innumerable times. A normal CD can hold up to 700 megabytes of data or burned music.

The normal burning or recording time required for compact disc (CD) to store data or music is hardly between few minutes to one hour depending on the service and tempo of your CD burner or writer.

It is advisable while burning your CD; no other programs are running in your computer, as it will make your burning process longer or make it stop.
