There are different types of skin rashes; not all of them are infectious. Skin rashes look like red patches or bumps – inflammation and itching are quite common with skin rashes.

Common causes of skin rashes:

Food allergy: Some people are found to be allergic to certain foods; taking those foods may result in skin rashes. Such rashes disappear automatically after a certain period of time. However, it is good to consult a skin doctor if the extent of rash is severe.

Reaction to Medicines: Skin rash from medicine is a common problem; some patients often react to medicines and develop rashes all over the skin. It is always recommended to contact a physician when such skin rashes appear. This type of rashes fades off as you stop taking the medicine.

Contact to Mold, Mildews and Insects: Toxic black molds, mildews, spiders and some other insects often secrete some kind of biochemical products which are harmful for us. When our skin comes in contact with such material, skin rashes develop. Such rashes are observed around the spot of contact only.

Contact to other skin rash patients: People suffering from contagious skin rashes may spread the disease. You need to be careful while visiting public places such as schools, hospitals etc. where a lot of people gather.

It is always suggested to consult dermatologists when skin rashes appear. A doctor diagnoses the cause of the disease properly and suggests the right medication.

The mystery regarding Michael Jackson’s burial continues as the embalmed body of the King of Pop still lies in Forest Lawn mortuary. Strangely enough, it took a month for his family to decide where the legendary pop icon will be “laid to rest”.

Previously, it was learnt that Jackson will be buried at Holly Terrace at Glendale Forest Lawn Memorial Park on August 29, 2009 which would have been Michael’s 51st birthday. The burial controversy took a new turn when Michael’s brother Joe Jackson revealed the two days postponement of MJ’s burial in front of the media.

Finally, to add to MJ fans’ disappointment the burial, as told by the family spokesperson, will take place on Thursday, September 3 instead of Saturday, August 31. The entire ceremony will be a private affair, restricted to family and friends only. But this time the delay would cost Jackson family thrice the original price of $50,000 for burial service. About 90% of the price will be spent on security and perimeter control, which is a major issue on weekdays. However, we pray for the peace of MJ’s soul!

The fashion designing team at Baylor is using this device for printing exotic patters on fabrics to be worn by models on the Project Runway. Baylor University fashion department is one of the two pioneering institutes in America to use such a printer in designer apparel manufacturing.

Hilary Clinton’s recent trip to India was conducted with an aim to bridge the gap between the newly elected US and Indian governments. The meeting between the US Foreign Secretary and Indian Minister of External Affairs has been a courtesy call. The US Foreign Secretary signed two important deals –

  • Technical Safeguard Agreement for permitting US-licensed parts and components to be used in civilian spacecrafts in India.
  • A $30million donation to fund scientific and technological innovations.
  • Both the nations exchanged up-to-date reports on their respective foreign policies and interests. A stable Pakistani government and quick settlement on Afghanistan issue are India’s primary interests.

India’s interests fit together with that of the United States to a great extent. A nuclear power in a turbulent neighborhood India always seeks stability in the neighboring countries, which now has become a major objective of America as well. Without India’s assistance it is not possible for America to sort out these issues and bring stability in the region.

The 4th largest army in the world, India has emerged as a dominating power in Southeast Asia. Being described as the Fastest Growing Economy in Asia the nation is expected to mature as one of the major sources of global economic growth by 2010. It makes India a potential market for the struggling US economy. The sooner the Obama government understands it the better it will be for America. Therefore, Hilary Clinton’s visit is expected to yield a fruitful result in the next few years.

Michael Jackson’s Last Performance Video Released

A 1 minute video from Jackson’s last performance is released by AEG Live, which promoted the concert on June 23rd. Jackson’s final performance was actually the rehearsal for Michael’s planned tour “This Is It”. Though the 50 years old singer appeared to be slower than before his golden voice mesmerized the audience. Especially the song “They Don’t Really Care About Us” left the audience spell bound. The presence of the back up dancers made the song even more lively. Photographer Kevin Mazur, who took Jackson’s final performance photos said that “When he hit the stage at rehearsal, I was thrilled that the magical Michael Jackson was back,”. Quite contrary to this comment the Pop king died just after two days this performance took place.
